About This Event

Five Petals. One Purpose.

Learn. Grow. Connect. Serve. Lead.

Experience a modern pageant rich in history as the North Carolina Azalea Festival celebrates the next generation of young women making a difference in their communities.

The NCAF Scholarship Pageant is more than a competition. It is the culmination of the Five Petals Experience, a program designed to develop confidence, public-speaking skills, leadership, community connections, and a commitment to civic engagement while providing opportunities to earn educational scholarships.

Throughout the program, Scholarship Candidates explore the history and traditions of the iconic North Carolina Azalea Festival, strengthen their communication and leadership skills, and discover how they can use their voices to encourage civic participation and community pride.

Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of these remarkable young women and announce the 80th North Carolina Azalea Festival Scholarship Princess, who will serve as a year-round youth ambassador, inspiring others to become active and engaged members of their communities.

One titleholder. Five Petals. Endless possibilities for what blooms next.
