It began with a vision to celebrate the breathtaking beauty of Wilmington's azaleas. Eighty Festivals later, that vision has blossomed into something extraordinary. Each spring, more than 300,000 people come together to celebrate the traditions, stories, and experiences that make Wilmington special. But the heart of The North Carolina Azalea Festival has never been measured by the size of its crowds. It's found in the volunteers who give their time, the families who return year after year, the artists who share their talents, and the moments that become memories passed from one generation to the next.
